Out under 16's basketball side have had an exceptional season and missed out on the district title by the narrowest of margins.

They qualified for the final by winning the Northern Wirral group un-beaten. They played fantastic basketball and beat South Wirral, Park High, Ridgeway and Wallasey by large margins.

The Final was played this week at Leasowe Recreation centre against a traditionally strong Wirral Grammar side. The match was a very high standard and the teams were tied at 26 points with ten seconds left. We had the chance to wrap up the game from the free throw line but amazingly Wirral were awarded a foul with 3 seconds left. They converted one shot to claim the title.
