Thanks Carl & Sam!

Following the story the Wirral Globe ran on Carl Kelly,  an anonymous person wrote to the school to praise Carl and his younger brother Sam

Carl receiving his award from the North Wirral Crime Prevention Panel Following the story the Wirral Globe ran on Carl Kelly – a pupil at The Mosslands School who received a community award for helping a mugging victim – an anonymous person wrote to the school to praise Carl and his younger brother Sam.

This very kind person enclosed a reward for both Carl and Sam, noting that they were a 'credit to their family, the school and the Wirral community'.

"On behalf of the boys and their family, we would like to say a big thank you to this person for recognising their actions.

Carl and Sam epitomise the polite, good-natured pupils we have at The Mosslands School, and in a further act of kindness, they have decided to donate the reward money they received to the school’s charities – Guide Dogs for the Blind and Claire House Children’s Hospice.

We hope you will be able to use this in the Letters section of the newspaper as we sincerely wish to send our thanks to the anonymous Wirral Globe reader and to let them know their money has been put to excellent use."
