Helping Mr Fluffy

Our students worked with Graduate Advocates from the University of Liverpool in delivering the Professor Fluffy roadshow to Year 5 pupils

Professor FluffyOn Wednesday 6th March pupils from Mosslands School worked with Graduate Advocates from the University of Liverpool in delivering the Professor Fluffy roadshow to Year 5 pupils at St Georges Primary. The programme aims to raise aspirations and confidence, and  help the children think about university and their future education.

Nicholas, Elliot, Liam and Joe were trained at the university and developed knowledge of the materials they were going to deliver. This included quizzes about university and explanations of what terms such as gaining a degree, or going to lectures actually mean.

The Mosslands Ambassadors acted as excellent role models in offering support to primary pupils. As the pupils had recently made the transition from primary to secondary school they were in a good position to answer any questions about school life at Mosslands, and the range of enrichment activities they have undertaken while at school to help challenge them and reach their targets.
