On Tuesday 11th March 65 senior citizens enjoyed the annual dinner and live musical entertainment provided by our students and staff. Yet again, the evening was funded and organised by the Rotary Club.

The sixth form Btec hospitality group cooked a traditional three course menu with help from Paula and Cathy from Taylor Shaw and Karen Rowlands our food technology technician. All the courses were served by twelve smartly dressed sixth form volunteers

After the meal the guests enjoyed a variety of music from a pop choir, a staff jazz ensemble and a Btec level 3 music group. The pop choir performed a choice of popular music, the staff ensemble a number of classic jazz standards and the Btec group some of their own compositions as well as pop songs from the 1950's.

The success of the night was rounded off by a vote of thanks to our school from the Chair of the Rotary Club.

A big thank you to all the Mosslands pupils and staff that made the evening possible.
