On Tuesday 24th June a group of Mosslands Year 10 pupils as part of a dream, plan achieve programme visited LJMU to gain an insight into what studying at university could offer.

The aim of the programme was to give pupils the opportunity to experience first hand what life at university is like, and to help pupils make informed decisions about their future.

During a fun and informative day pupils undertook a tour of facilities, and visited one of JMU’s Learning Resource Centres open 24/7, and also met undergraduate students studying engineering and law. Pupils learnt about the range of social and support activities available including clubs, societies, and advice centre. Pupils also undertook workshops on ‘Have you got the ‘WoW Factor’ exploring key employability skills needed for the world of work and a student life activity.
