22 lucky year 7 pupils were treated to a world cup themed literacy day at Anfield, home of Liverpool Football Club. The day was the culmination of the Premier league reading stars programme ran at school this year which encourages students to read all types of football related literacy.

 

 

Students were treated to a day of interactive lessons in the state of the art "Reducate" suite at the stadium and took part in sessions promoting literacy around all parts of the stadium.

 

 

 

They were able to tour the museum, changing rooms, press room and pitch side. The boys loved the day and have been a great success throughout the ten week course.
