Y13 Oxford and Cambridge Application workshops

Mosslands School arranged for Year 13 pupil Jack Sharpen to attend an Oxford and Cambridge application workshop in September at Upton Hall School for students about to submit an application to Oxford or Cambridge. The workshop lasted 2 hours and involved a presentation on interviews and personal statements followed by discussion of sample interview questions, with current Oxford and Cambridge students from the local area.

Y11 Competitive Universities ‘What Next?’ workshops

A small number of Year 11 pupils also undertook a workshop for high-achieving Year 11 students who have the potential to apply to competitive universities. The workshop lasted around 90 minutes and involved an introduction to competitive universities and focused on the importance of post-16 subject choices.
