32 students were treated to an inspirational football tour of PSV Eindhoven in October. They were able to fit a huge amount into the 6 days:

• 5 training sessions with their coaches at the first teams facilities
• 2 fixtures against dutch opposition
• PSV stadium tour
• Watching youth teams play
• Watching Premier league fixture at NEC Nijmegen
• Trips into Eindhoven centre

It was a brilliant tour and students learned huge amounts about the dutch football philosophy. They were taught how to act, eat and play like the dutch. They had several sessions on possessions, shooting, transitions, set pieces, defending and attacking as a team. They were greatly improved by the last day and started to try and play football from defence through to attack with more possession and less long balls.

They played tw0 fixtures in each year group. Winning one and losing one against strong opposition.

The students were a credit to the school and will remember this for the rest of their lives.
