Three LionsIn response to student requests we have agreed to have a non uniform day on

Wednesday 23rd June.

Every student that comes to school out of uniform will be required to contribute £1 for the privilege.

This money will be collected by Form Representatives during morning registration. If every member of the school community contributes a minimum of £1 this will raise nearly £1,000 for the range of charities we support.

Last year our charity events raised over £7,000. Please support us in our drive to continue this success; especially in these more troubled financial times.

On this day we will be suspending the final lesson to allow students to watch the England game which kicks off at 3.00 pm. We will be showing this on our ‘big screen’ in the main hall. However, if you would prefer your son to go home, he will be allowed to leave school at 2.30 pm.
This privilege will only be afforded to those students who arrive at school punctually.
Anyone who arrives at school after the 8.45 am bell will be required to stay in school until 3.20 pm.

I would encourage students to come to school in football tops, especially national kits. We will try to re-create the atmosphere of South Africa in our main hall, but without the Vuvuzala’s.
