Leeds Armouries

The Leeds Armouries trip was a chance for the Year 8 pupils to take a hands on approach to studying the English Civil Wars and cultures of Stuart society. There was a fantastic falconry show, and a joust between 3 armed Tudor gentlemen! The boys got the chance to handle armour from World War Two, bayonets from World War One and tried on clothing, armour and weaponry from over 350 years ago!!

It was a fabulous day for all, made better by the glorious Yorkshire sun!
