Aims & Ethos
The Product Design department at The Mosslands School – A Technology College aims to prepare the pupils for the ever changing world in which they live. Technological advancements mean that society is moving forwards at a faster rate than ever before and pupils will learn to appreciate the ways in which good design enhances the way in which they live.
All pupils, studying at whatever level, will be given the opportunity to design and manufacture products of the highest quality using industry standard tools and machinery. It is the ultimate goal of the department to develop autonomous designers who are able to creatively problem solve the challenges of 21st century life.
