Key Stage 4 Timetable

Please see the timetable guidance below regarding when you can expect independent study tasks to be set and how often. 

Key Stage 4 Ebacc Subjects

Maths

 

  • 1-3 tasks per week on Hegarty Maths (depending on length of tasks) plus 4 MemRi tasks.
  • Set on Thursday.

  • Set on Friday.
  • In addition to this a Practice Paper will be given out at beginning of year. When this is handed in another one will be issued.  It is recommended that students complete one per fortnight.

Computer Science

  • Completion of NEA (coursework) practice tasks.

 

  • Up to 60 minutes a week
  • Working on theory tasks, which will include a combination of GCSEPod assignments and past paper exercises.
  • Completion of preparation work for the NEA (coursework component).

L1/2 Construction

  • Up to 60 minutes a week
  • Working on theory tasks, which will include a combination of GCSEPod assignments and past paper exercises.
  • Revision for the Unit 01 examination.
  • Skills development for the Unit 02 (coursework component).
  • Up to 60 minutes a week
  • Working on Unit 01/03 revision tasks, which will include a combination of GCSEPod assignments, study skills and past paper exercises.
  • Completion of preparation work for the Unit 02 (coursework component).

L1/2 Food Technology

  • Up to 60 minutes a week

Music BTEC

  • Practice routine on you instrument.

Drama BTEC

  • Up to 1 hour per week.

From February 2021, pupils will be expected to book weekly practical exam rehearsal slots with their Drama teacher.
