A Message from Mr Whiteley
On Tuesday evening, we held our annual Rotarian Dinner for senior citizens from our local care homes. Almost 100 guests attended the dinner, chauffeured in our school minibuses and by Rotarian members. They enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal which was made in school and served by our keen and smartly dressed sixth formers. The evening finished with music provided by a band made up of former students and current staff while many of the pensioners enjoyed a twirl around the dance floor. A huge thank you to RPJ3 for the catering, our students and staff who gave up their evenings to help set up the hall, serve food and clear away at the end. Feedback from guests has been extremely positive and everyone had a great night.
Dear Mr Whiteley,
Thank you for opening up the school for last night's dinner. Can you please pass on our appreciation to the Rotarians, your staff and pupils for a very pleasant evening? My mother particularly looks forward to this event and we realise how much effort and how much personal time they have all given on our behalf. Everyone we spoke to were so pleasant, it was a real fun evening.
We want them to know it was all worth it.
Thank you.
