Mosslands PTA depends on an enthusiastic and dedicated band of parents who support the school in many ways. We fundraise through various events such as Fashion Shows and Quiz Nights. Over the years the PTA has funded two minibuses, music stands, library books, karting equipment and a substantial sponsorship donation was made when school successfully applied for Technology College status. More recently, now that the building work has finished, we have funded the purchase of nine Hornbeam trees which have been planted in the landscaped area of the school grounds. This enhances the environment and makes it a more pleasant place for pupils, visitors and staff.
PTA meetings are held monthly and give an opportunity for senior staff and parents to meet informally and plan activities such as Quiz Nights and Fashion Shows and at each meeting the monthly 100 Club draw takes place. If you have any ideas for other fundraising activities we would be pleased to hear from you via email at admin@mosslands.wirral.sch.
A couple of years ago the PTA took on the sales to parents, at competitive prices, of all the games kit your son will need – rugby shirts, shorts and socks. These can be purchased at New Parents evenings which are held in the summer term each year and through the school office.
All parents are automatically members of the PTA and offers of help whether by joining the Committee, or by lending a hand to serve refreshments at functions and new Parents evenings are always welcome. Tickets will cost £2 each and include one glass of wine or soft drink (what more of an incentive could you want!). Further drinks will be available to purchase.

Mosslands Association 100 Club
This is a monthly draw which takes place at each PTA meeting. There are ten draws each year. For a yearly payment of £10 you are allocated a number which is entered into each draw. Half of the yearly taking is the prize fund and the other half becomes PTA funds. The monthly prize is one tenth of the total prize fund.
Winners are notified via their son and details of each months prize winner will be posted on the website www.mosslands.co.uk
