The Mosslands School: A Technology College has served the community of Wallasey for more than 100 years. The school continues to provide aquality education for boys, rom both the local area and the wider borough of Wirral.

The school provides a truly comprehensive education for more than 1,000 students achieving excellent results at Key Stage 3, GCSE and post-16 level.

The sixth form, which is one of the most successful in Wirral, is a mixed one, delivering a full programme of vocational and academic options, careers’ advice and guidance (for which the school was judged as outstanding by Ofsted).

The most recent Ofsted inspection states that not only is Mosslands a rapidly improving school, but importantly, students feel safe, valued and cared for.

The staff believe that an effective partnership with parents is fundamental to a thriving school.

Parents rightly expect much from a school – that students are well taught, well advised, well disciplined, well looked after and are given opportunities to grow and develop as people, through a range of activities within and outside the curriculum. The school has numerous projects, sporting activities, competitions, creative events, charity fundraising, ventures, trips and visits throughout the year, which helps to add to the learning potential and morals of members of the school.

An example is the Rewind centenary celebrations, which enabled students to use the latest industry standard technology to produce a film celebrating the history of the school that was entered into the National Lottery Awards 2010.
