Call-Up For National Water Polo Team

Mosslands student Daniel Peek has been asked to represent Great Britain in the Under-14 water polo team.

After only two years in the sport of water polo a Wirral youngster as received a call up to the Great Britain squad.

Mosslands school pupil Daniel Peek will represent the GB under-14 squad having successfully negotiated a series of trials.

A member of Wallasey Swimming Club, Daniel has been training at Guinea Gap baths for four years but only took up water polo two years ago.

Daniel was confirmed as a GB team member earlier this year having come through assessment at Millfield School in August and then Cardiff later in 2009.

Playing for Wallasey, Warrington, City of Manchester and the North West, Daniel has built up water polo experience quickly which will allow him to make a splash on the GB scene.
