Liverpool University Scholarships

Four Year 13 Mosslands School students have successfully completed the University of Liverpool Scholars Scheme.

The University of LiverpoolFour Year 13 Mosslands School students Ahmed Wilkinson, Glen Johnson, Matthew Staunton and Josh Stead have successfully completed the University of Liverpool Scholars Scheme.

The Scholars Scheme is a programme for Year 12 students aimed at supporting entry into the University of Liverpool, through the completion of a portfolio of work linked to a range of activities including academic skills workshops and an assignment linked to current studies and future degree subject choice.

Students worked with current undergraduate students and academic staff, gaining insight into the commitment and dedication required to be a student at a research-intensive institution like The University of Liverpool, whilst at the same time developing new academic skills.

Here is what the students gained from successful completion of the course:

  • A guaranteed conditional offer of a place at The University of Liverpool
  • This offer is reduced by the equivalent of 40 UCAS points
  • A non-repayable University of Liverpool financial bursary to help towards tuition fees and living expenses once Scholars gain a place at The University of Liverpool.
