On Wednesday 7th March we were delighted to welcome back undergraduate students from the University of Liverpool Debating Society.
A class of Year 10 pupils experienced how a debate is run, and were able to develop a range of skills allowing them to run their own debates at the end of the session. All the pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were engaged throughout. This opportunity has helped them develop important speaking and listening skills. A range of topics were discussed including the merits or otherwise of single gender schools, university tuition fees and much more.
