Boccia Tournament 2012

Mosslands compete in the annual Wirral Boccia Tournament with a pleasing result!

Playing BocciaOn the 20th March, 7 students from took part in the annual Boccia tournament held at Leasowe recreational centre.

The tournament included both primary and secondary schools from across the Wirral. The all day event was enjoyed by all.

Two teams of three, represented the school in the tournament and they should be very proud of their achievements. They both won a game, drew one and competed in some other very closely fought games.

Mr Keggin and Mrs Oldfield were extremely happy with the boys performance saying "They were a credit to the school."

"We as a school team are new to Boccia and other teams clearly allocate more time to it than we do practicing and playing matches. It's something that we highly recommend that we should be doing in the future going by the reaction of the boys after their respective winning matches"

Well done team!
