On the 21st May a group of Year 7 students crossed the border to Wales to experience Teen Tech at Glyndwr University!

TeenTech events are highly interactive and give hand on experience, designed to inspire young teenagers about careers in the contemporary world of Science, Engineering and Technology.

The demand for engineers is growing world-wide and there are amazing career opportunities available for young people who choose to study STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). So with the help of Airbus and Glyndwr University, the opportunity to experience the many fields of Engineering was offered to the select few.

The day started off with a vote on views about engineering, with the polling being conducted by Maggie Philbin, who developed Teen Tech while working on science programs for the BBC.
