 ‘I would like to congratulate our students on these most impressive results. They are just reward for the hard work of our students and I know they would want me to acknowledge and thank the dedicated staff of our school for their commitment in helping them secure these high standards. It is always sad to say farewell to students who have been with us for 7 years but we do so with great pride in their academic achievements and with a sense of satisfaction we have played some part in developing fine young people ready to take their place in, and make a valuable contribution to, communities they will find themselves part of in the future. This year group have made an outstanding contribution to the life of the school and we are very proud of them. They exemplify all that is best in the young people in our school community and testament to the continuing success of this all ability school and it’s commitment to educating the whole person. The staff wish all our students success in the future.’

There were stunning performances across all subjects with over 50% of students securing the highest grades in Business Studies, Chemistry, Art, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Politics.

Among our high performers are Head Prefect, Oliver Gregory, Deputy Head Prefect, Joshua Devonport and Senior Prefect, Ahmed Wilkinson who achieved 6 A Levels at the highest grades. Oliver, Joshua and Ahmed will be taking up places at University to read Physics, Medicine and Accounting and Finance respectively. Other outstanding performances came from the students pictured.

Oliver commented ‘We have enjoyed our time at Mosslands. We would encourage anyone looking for a high quality education to consider coming to what is an outstanding Sixth Form’.

We welcome students from other schools to join this outstanding sixth form and will be holding our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 29th November 2012.
