100% GCSE Success!

Congratulations to all of our GCSE students! 100% of students achieving 5 or more passes!

GCSE Students celebrate their resultsThe Mosslands School The Mosslands School – A Technology College would like to congratulate all year 11 students for their excellent GCSE examination results.

100% of students achieved five or more GCSE passes, with 75 per cent of these gaining A* to C passes in five or more subjects.

The students have followed a very academically traditional curriculum that is tailored to allow all to achieve to the very best of their ability.

The range of subjects across the school inspires and motivates the students, and this is clearly evident in this admirable set of results.

The most able students have, again, achieved to an exceptionally high standard. The top nine boys in the cohort achieved 48 A* and 45 A grades between them.

Special mentions must go to Joshua Keatley, who achieved seven A* and four A grades, Jack Sharpen, who achieved eight A*, one A and two B grades, and Alex Segar, who achieved seven A*s, three As and one B.

Acting Headteacher Mrs Veronica Lee said: “These results are testament to the hard work and dedication of the students and staff at the school, and I would like to congratulate and thank students and staff for their contributions this year.

“What the results prove is that we cater and provide for the full ability range of students and ensure that all achieve to their potential.

“Again, our most able students have performed to an exceptional standard and demonstrate that this school is capable of producing results in line with the selective Wirral schools.”

The vast majority of these students will now remain at Mosslands and join the sixth form to further their studies in their chosen subjects.

The school welcomes applicants to the sixth form from all Wirral students and has a vast range of subjects and courses on offer. For more information about the sixth form, please click here.
