The Mosslands School enjoyed a great day of fund raising activities on Friday 15th March, in aid of Comic Relief.

Members of the school office sold red noses for £1. They also held a photograph competition in which people had to guess the members of staff from photographs of them when they were young.

Students were allowed to come to school wearing trainers and no tie for a 50p donation.

Year 9 arranged their own sponsored run. Hoping to raise a minium of £5 sponsorship each, they're aiming to collect over £500.

"Staff in Stocks". Students got a chance to pay to get their own back on their teachers! With a £1 donation, students were allowed to throw 3 wet sponges at the helpless faces of their teachers. Many thanks to Mr. Whiteley, Mrs Coates, Mr Davies and Mrs Roberts for being good sports!

Home made fresh breads, cakes and biscuits went on sale in the afternoon for students, staff and members of the community. The tasty delights didn't last long and sold out!

The total amount of money raised will be released sometime this week on the website. Well done to everyone who took part!
