Our first ever Mosslands Literacy Festival kicks off this week

Our first ever Mosslands Literacy Festival kicks off this week. 

Exciting events on the menu at Mosslands include:

  • The re-opening of the newly refurbished school Library.
  • The launch of our new Accelerated Reader scheme to Year 7 and 8.
  • Three world famous authors, Alan Gibbons, Jon Mayhew and Paul Cookson working with all KS3 pupils.
  • Story telling by Cath Roberts of the 'Literally Bookshop' in New Brighton.
  • Inspirational workshops by Mosslands past pupils. (rapping, poetry, rock music and storytelling)
  • Fabulous literacy based activities in all subject areas.
  • Staff 'extreme reading' photo competition.
