MOSSLANDS E2E

Mosslands School would like to thank all the local businesses who have supported our Yr 13 students who are about to embark on the biggest physical challenge of their lives so far.

Mosslands School would like to thank all the local businesses who have supported our Yr 13 students who are about to embark on the biggest physical challenge of their lives so far.  On Thursday 10th July at 9.30am in the morning they will be setting out from Land's Ends to cycle the length of the country to John O'Groats in aid of M.I.N.D ( Mental Health Charity.) The students and staff taking part in this fantastic Duke of Edinburgh gold award challenge would like to say ahuge thank you to:

K Cycles in Eastham for the many hours of labour, parts, servicing, bikes and cups of tea.
Tesco'sCostco and Fuel for supplying the drinks, food and groceries for the expedition.
West Wallasey Van Hire for providing a Large Van to transport equipment.
MJ Builders for supplying equipment and kit
Pro-vision for designing our fantastic Jerseys.
Halfords for puncture repair kits and inner tubes.

Everyone who is taking part in the challenge is excited to be starting and apprehensive of the journey ahead.  The final goal of this endeavor is to raise £ 7500.00 for M.I.N.D. and to achieve this the students have set up a 'JustGiving' account.  At the time of going to press, the donations were just over the half way mark so if you are able, please log on to the site and be as generous as you can. Thank you to all the generous individuals who have already supported our challenge.
