The Bone Society held their annual conference in Liverpool last month and invited Mosslands pupils to attend a variety of workshops at John Moores University to learn more about their research. Four Year 8 boys had the chance to come up close with a real elephant thigh and a rather skinny looking professor from Oxford University.  The afternoon gave them a great opportunity to learn more about bones but also opened their eyes for a variety of research careers in Science and Sport.
