  • A musical interlude

    I'll have a "P" Bob!  was once the call in the famous Blockbusters quiz show but the music industry has taken it large with 3 P’s as the  3 pillars for successful careers in the industry. Perform, Produce, and Promote the gateway to fulfilment and happiness in the music industry but not without a load of graft, unhealthy meals and many late nights. And so Mosslands students were introduced to “musical careers” and enjoyed an inspiring and interactive day at Sound City kindly hosted by Wirral Metropolitan College.  Students sat in on panel discussions were industry experts regaled the audience with a potted history of their journeys.

  • Year 7s go to University!

    So why does Mosslands school take young students to Universities? It’s all part of showing students the future options and educational pathways that they might want to go into in the future. No pressure, no hard sell but just a chance to walk through the campuses, explore the amazing facilities, get a brief insight and vibe of university life and just enjoy the experience. Additionally, in this case, our students also got a chance to work with The Talent Foundry on their Powering Transformation program, working in teams to produce a Global Social Issue campaign and presentation.

  • Expanding Horizons

    At first glance, you could be mistaken in thinking these Year 11 Mosslands students are standing in front of the South elevation of St Georges Hall. However, these lads are in fact in front of Wilkins Hall UCL (University College London)! Working closely with the excellent Liverpool John Moores University, Access All Areas students admissions outreach team, a group of students visited UCL to gain a brief insight into London University life.

    GB makes things, great things, and they’re good at it. That’s the resounding message our (Mosslands School Wirral) Year 7 and 8 STEM students took from an inspiring and fun visit to MACH 2024 at the Birmingham NEC.
