Christmas Santa Dash & Hamper Appeal 2023

Our amazing Sixth-formers, in combination with NCS, are running a Santa Dash and creating Christmas hampers to support the local community. Please find all the details below of how you can support our students!

How to support students:

  • Fundraising for Wirral Arc and the annual Christmas hamper appeal.
  • All students are requested to donate £1 or a Christmas food item from the list below.
  • If you would like to donate online, please donate here:
  • Sixth-formers will be selling Santa Hats for £1 to raise funds for Wirral Ark. Students are encouraged to have their donations ready.

Tuesday 12th December - Periods 1 & 2 (Immediately after AM registration)
Location: Old Sports Hall
Students who are participating have been nominated

Event Schedule:
1. Registration in the old sports hall.
2. Runners will be grouped according to year groups.
3. Each year group will have two assigned members of staff or sixth formers as their timekeepers.
4. Students will walk to Bidston Moss to perform the run.
5. Year groups will set of in waves, one minute apart.
6. When each runner finishes the race, they should report their time to their designated timekeeper.
7. Prizes will then be awarded to the three fastest runners.
8. Students will then be walked back to the old sports hall to collect their belongings and return to class.

Additional Reminders
Attire: Students should wear their PE kits for the event.
Donations: Fundraising for Wirral Ark and the Christmas hamper appeal. Students are requested to donate £1 or a food item below.
Class Charts: All students will be tagged on Class Charts for the event.

Sixth-form students will retrieve the food items by Friday the 15th December where they will pack them into small hampers and deliver them to the local community.

Please either bring in £1 or one of the following food items:

  • Tea and coffee
  • Mince pies
  • Chocolates
  • Biscuits
  • Yule log
