Clay Pigeon Shooting
Claire Owen and PC Colin Garland organised a days shooting at Sealand Ranges for 15 year 8, 9, 10 and 11 boys, as a reward for their hard work. Thanks to the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) who provided all the instructors and equipment. During the day the boys were taught to shoot clay targets using 28, 20 and 12 gauge shotguns. They were also shown how a gamekeeper manages an estate and deals with raising thousands of game birds. This included showing us how a gundog works George (the dog!) was definitely the star of the day.
