Ten Year 9 Mosslands pupils attended a ‘Why Science’ day at the Discovery CLC
Ten Year 9 Mosslands pupils attended a ‘Why Science’ day at the Discovery CLC on Thursday 11th November, along with pupils from a range of Wirral secondary schools. The day involved a range of activities. Pupils had the opportunity to meet and interview a range of scientists from many different disciplines including Biologists, Chemists, Physicists, and Engineers among others. Pupils also enjoyed a range of interactive workshops ranging from Oceanography through to Nanotechnology. They also learnt about Maglev trains and attempted to levitate a pencil. See video clip.
