Lancaster Philosophy for schools

On Tuesday 2^nd February over thirty year 9 pupils were able to take part in Lancaster Universities outreach programme.

The idea of the Philosophy programme is to expand minds. It asks deep questions – why is anything wrong? What is a person? What do you really know? – and relates them to real-life problems. It trains reasoning and develops key learning skills. Pupils with the help of undergraduate students looked at questions around human enhancement.
