Wirral Healthy Schools Adviser delivered an assembly highlighting a course for families looking to make changes to a more active lifestyle
On Thursday 6th January Mosslands School welcomed Phil Rhodes a Wirral Healthy Schools Adviser who delivered an assembly to Year 7 students highlighting an exciting new course for families looking to make changes to a more active lifestyle.
Following the ‘Change 4 Life’ campaign which has run on television, and featured on billboards, Mosslands in conjunction with the Wirral Healthy Schools team is looking to highlight a 10 week MEND programme for Year 7 students starting the week beginning 17th January. Interested pupils were able to take information home to show parents.
Do it!
For those taking part in the 10 week programme it will involve a two hour session led by qualified instructors each week. Each programme involves a supermarket tour and taster session, a goodie bag with MEND T-shirts, folder and certificate. A adult must attend each session with their child.
Places on the programme are given away on a first come, first served basis.
