The idea of the Philosophy programme is to expand minds. It asks deep questions – why is anything wrong? What is a person? What do you really know? – and relates them to real-life problems. It trains reasoning and develops key learning skills. Pupils with the help of undergraduate students looked at questions around climate change and the environment.
The session was very enjoyable and thought provoking at the same time.
