Boulogne Trip

Mosslands Year 7 boys embrace the culture and put their language skills to the test on a wonderful trip to Boulogne, Nothern France

65 Year 7 boys spent the day in Boulogne in Northern France, on Friday 17 June. Lead by the intrepid Mrs Gelder we spent a fabulous day discovering the delights of the town. Many baguettes and pain au chocolats were consumed and berets purchased and worn with pride. All of the boys ordered their own drinks in French at a cafĂ© and impressed the locals with both their accents and their impeccable manners.

After lunch in the park, we visited the Nausicaa Sea Life Centre. Some of the sharks looked a bit panicky at the sight of so many Mosslands boys in their territory! We fitted in a quick dash around the hypermarket before boarding the return ferry. We arrived at Mosslands safely but tired late Friday night.

Thanks to: Mrs Gelder for organising the trip; all the staff involved (Mr Cousins, Miss Coulson, Mr Hepworth, Mr Le Normand and Miss Charles) and last but not least, the boys for making it a great success. Well done.
