The History Department took a group of magical and fantastic young men on a rewards trip to Warwick Castle for all their excellent work this year. The boys were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The coach driver commented on how well the boys behaved and their good manners. The day involved a number of presentations on how to defend and attack a castle and the magnificent trebuchet – lethal weapon of war from years gone by – see the picture below. There was also a superb display of falconry, which the boys particularly enjoyed (I think the teachers were also impressed).
Mr Potts should be congratulated on organising another outstanding History trip – he really does bring history alive beyond the classroom – a great job Mr Potts!
