 The University of Liverpool

Three Year 12 Mosslands School students Jamie Graham, Adam Williams and Sam Williams have successfully gained places on the University of Liverpool Scholars Scheme.

The Scholars Scheme is a programme for Year 12 students aimed at supporting entry into the University of Liverpool, through the completion of a portfolio of work linked to a range of activities including academic skills workshops and an assignment linked to current studies and future degree subject choice.

Students will work with current undergraduate students and academic staff, gaining insight into the commitment and dedication required to be a student at a research-intensive institution like The University of Liverpool, whilst at the same time developing new academic skills.

Here is what students gain if they successfully complete the course:
  • A guaranteed conditional offer of a place at The University of Liverpool
  • This offer is reduced by the equivalent of 40 UCAS points
  • A non-repayable University of Liverpool financial bursary to help towards tuition fees and living expenses once Scholars go on to complete the Scholars programme and gain a place at The University of Liverpool
