The fantastic Mosslands U16 Rugby Team ran out 27-19 winners of the Wirral Cup last night in a thrilling encounter against Plessington High School.

Craig Pugh scored two tries, both of which were powerful runs from the base of the scrum. Vincent Nixon also scored a brace with Josh Gardener adding one more. Nixon was successful with one attempt at goal. Man of the match was the outstanding Matthew Thornton. 

The team was a credit to the school both on and off the field, not only yesterday but all season, and deserved to lift the Cup.
