We gave students the opportunity to attend the event, as we know it can help them to research their choice of courses and universities, and allow them to make informed choices about their future plans.

The Conference itself had two main parts:-

  1. There was a ‘Marketplace’ where representatives from over 120 universities and colleges of higher education in the UK were situated. Students were able to talk to representatives, ask questions as well as taking copies of prospectuses.
  2. The second part of the UCAS Fair was a series of presentations on a wide range of subjects studied in higher education. All the speakers made their talks relevant to their subject in all universities.

Follow up sessions will also be taking place in school to support students with the application process, as well as looking at the broad range of post 18 options.
