Our first ever Mosslands Literacy Festival kicks off this week
Our first ever Mosslands Literacy Festival kicks off this week.
Exciting events on the menu at Mosslands include:
- The re-opening of the newly refurbished school Library.
- The launch of our new Accelerated Reader scheme to Year 7 and 8.
- Three world famous authors, Alan Gibbons, Jon Mayhew and Paul Cookson working with all KS3 pupils.
- Story telling by Cath Roberts of the 'Literally Bookshop' in New Brighton.
- Inspirational workshops by Mosslands past pupils. (rapping, poetry, rock music and storytelling)
- Fabulous literacy based activities in all subject areas.
- Staff 'extreme reading' photo competition.
