Mr Whisker Head of KS3 Science at Mosslands and Mr Taylor took a group of Year 7 pupils to Techniquest to explore the Science curriculum further. Opportunities included using hands-on exhibits and a show on Forces.

Techniquest Glyndwr offers over 60 hands-on exhibits complemented by a varied programme of interactive shows, workshops and special events. The programme was designed to stimulate and motivate pupils as well as enhance delivery of the National Curriculum.

This show was pitched at year seven as an introduction to forces at KS3. It focused on pushing and pulling forces, friction, measuring and interpreting forces, gravity, electromagnetism, pressure, rotational forces and the difference between mass and weight.
