Year 7 Golf Success

Liam Hayes (7G1) was lucky enough to be selected to play at the host venue of the British open, Royal Liverpool in Hoylake.

He competed against several other schools on the Wirral and was crowned individual winner of the whole tournament.

Not only was he honoured to play at such a prestigious venue but he played exceptionally well and his been crowned Wirral champion for 2015.

Liam said "I was made up to even be playing there. The course was not as hard as I thought and I played really well. It was amazing to play at the same place I had seen McIlroy win the open this year"
