Peter Dolan from Liverpool John Moores University works closely with us here at Mosslands to help our 6^th form students thinking of applying for university. On Wednesday 23^rd June Peter delivered a very useful session on the importance of UCAS Personal Statements.

 

Peter talked to students about how to sell themselves to university admissions tutors on their UCAS application and how to get an edge over the competition. Examples of what makes a good and bad personal statement were also provided and further follow up work will take place in PSHE lessons.
