Bushcraft @ Castle Howard

Bushcraft

Mr Jones and Mr Reed took 60 year 8 students for an amazing experience in the woods in Castle Howard, North Yorkshire.

They had three days and two nights to escape, relax, learn and have fun.

The students were amazing at throwing themselves out of their comfort zones and trying new things.

They cooked and ate their own meals, learned to light fires, used knives, set traps, made shelters (and slept in them) and much, much more.

They also had loads of fun and time to connect with others around a camp fire.

It was a brilliant and educational visit after a difficult few years for these fine young men.

Well done to all involved.

Mr Reed has lots of photos that he will send to form teachers to watch in form time. Students involved can ask for pictures of themselves if they wish.
