Teacher of Science (suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers)

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Science teacher, with a willingness to teach Physics to GCSE,  to work with us in our drive towards achieving the best outcomes for all pupils. Our school has a history of excellence in science, engineering and technology which has seen it grow into the STE@M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) Centre of Excellence that it is today. We were voted TES STEM School of the year in 2018 and have been recently shortlisted for TES STEM Team of the year 2020.

The Mosslands School is situated in the heart of the Wallasey community and is a recognised centre of excellence for STEAM subjects. We are developing a mastery approach to the teaching of Science across the school and have a Secondary Mastery Programme through ARK Academy and a pilot school in developing the Key Stage 4 programme. 

To succeed in this role, you must be an exceptional practitioner, with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire students.
