Our Vision and Values
Respect
You treat others with respect and kindness, regardless of who they are. You uphold good behavior, show gratitude, listen actively, and act with integrity. Faraday House members are known for their positive influence on others and their strong sense of community.
Resilient
You face challenges head-on and bounce back from setbacks with determination. Whether it’s academic pressure, personal difficulties, or team challenges, you keep going. You don’t give up easily — you adapt, learn, and grow stronger each time.
Aspirational
You put consistent effort into everything you do — in class, in sports, in the arts, or in leadership. You take pride in your work and strive for excellence, not just for personal success but to contribute to the house’s reputation and legacy.
Being in Faraday House means you are part of a tradition of excellence. You carry forward the spirit of resilience, respect, and effort — and that makes you not just a member of the House, but a role model for others.
How We Support Students
In Faraday we want everyone involved with our House to feel well supported. We believe that good pastoral support focuses on nurturing the individual needs of each child. We aim to build trusting and empathetic relationships with all our pupils and their families. Services that we offer to our students include 1to1 mentoring, attendance, Mental Health wellbeing support, SEND support, ELSA plus many more
