PROBLEMS WITH NEW YEAR 7 ACCOUNTS
We have resolved the problem with the new Year 7 accounts. Please follow the steps on this page to reset your password.
LINKS NOT WORKING IN BROMCOM APP
This error still appears to be unresolved. We have reported this fault to Bromcom, who are aware of the issue and are still working to fix the problem. We have had no further updates.
Workaround solution: Students can still access Bromcom from their mobile or computer browser by logging into their account at www.bromcomvle.com - from here they will be able to access links to homework.
Homework @ Mosslands
Studies researching the impact of homework in secondary schools report an additional five months' progress, on average, over the course of a year.
To put it simply, students who regularly complete homework are more likely to make better progress in school, therefore it is important that your son develops the habit of regularly completing homework assignments.
Key Stage 3 and 4 homework timetables can be accessed via the links provided.
Bromcom
All homework tasks are logged via our school's Management Information System (MIS), Bromcom. Students and parents must download the Bromcom app to keep track of homework tasks and approaching deadlines.
Parents should now have received their welcome email with instructions to download the MyChildAtAtSchool app.
If you have not yet received this email, please email ictsupport@mosslands.wirral.sch.uk quoting your son's name and form.
Accessing Bromcom Accounts
Forgotten your login details or accessing Bromcom for the first time?
Follow the steps below to set up or reset your Bromcom account password:
- Visit https://www.bromcomvle.com/ and choose Forgotten Login Details
- Click the I need to reset my password option
- Enter the school ID 14825 and your Google Classroom email address​ (username@mosslands.co.uk)
- Go to your Google Classroom email account and follow the instructions to reset your password
Once you have reset your password, you can login with your username (in the format [year joined]+[surname]+[first initial]) and your password.
