As part of the school’s Aimhigher programme the Universal Impact Theatre group was in school to deliver a ‘HE4ALL’ drama performance exploring the potential benefits of Higher Education to over 150 year 10 pupils
The Aimhigher Associates Scheme is a new targeted and structured programme which aims to guide and support learners with a long-term commitment of mentoring as they progress through full-time secondary education into further education at sixth form or college.
This week our year 9 team were beaten narrowly (18 – 15) by a very strong Wirral Grammar side in the final of the Wirral basketball playoffs.

Tuesday 2nd February saw the start of the fencing club at Mosslands School, at the moment the only school on the Wirral to have its own club.
Home Access is a government drive which will help low-income families to get access to a computer and the internet to get online at home. If you are a low income family in receipt of certain benefits you could qualify for a grant to buy a computer and/or a minimum of one years’ internet access.
On Tuesday 2nd February over thirty year 9 pupils were able to take part in Lancaster Universities outreach programme.
Mosslands students have been generously giving their time and money to raise funds for the people of Haiti. So far over £1580 has been raised through cake sales, band nights, coin collections, raffles and a non uniform day.
