Admissions
How to Apply
If you would like to make an application to join our school, or for expressions of interest in Mosslands and for admission procedures through the Local Authority, contact the Wirral Council’s Children and Young People’s Department; tel: 0151 606 2020 or visit here.
Admissions to the school are subject to our own admissions policy, which applies the same criteria as the Local Authority who administer/operate all admissions.
The policy is available to download below and under the School Policies section of the school website.
The Application Process
1. Open Events
Come have a look at the school for yourself on one of our open evenings. We have guided tours by our students who will be able to show you all the bits you're dying to see.
If you are unable to make our open evenings, you can email us to arrange another time to see the school.
Please email: admin@mosslands.wirral.sch.uk
2. Submit Application Form
Open the local council website and submit an application form, with The Mosslands School as one of your chosen schools.
This application must be completed by 31st October.
3. Places Announces
On the 1st March you will receive an email from your local council letting you know what school your child has been placed at.
If you are not happy with the place that your child has been allocated, you will be able to make an appeal with the council, on thier website.
Transferring to The Mosslands School
Transferring from one school to another is also coordinated by the local council. We cannot offer places directly to parents.
You can apply for a school transfer online through the local council website. Or if you are unable to do it online, they have an application form you can download and send to them by email. The details are on the website.
