The Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC) have been an important part of Mosslands since September 2024, under the leadership of Sergeant Fox. The CCF’s mission is to encourage leadership potential, instilling discipline, camaraderie, and impeccable manners into our students.

Sessions take place on a Thursday evening from 3:30pm to 5:00pm only during term time.

In these sessions, the cadets are given the opportunity to take part in a range of activities, all on-site. The following are included, but not limited to:

• First Aid Training
• Radio Communication Training
• Map Reading
• Orienteering
• Flying Operations
• Flight Simulations

Additionally, we have a number of camps and residential’s each year that the cadets are able to take part in the following, but are not limited to:

• Climbing
• Paintballing
• Archery

If you would like to join the cadets, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must be 13 years of age at the minimum.
• In year 8 or above
• You must attend a recruitment session.
• You must have a conversation with Sergeant Fox about your interest in Cadets.
