· Experiment with a variety of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art, to expand their technical skills and artistic expression.

· Develop an understanding of the formal elements of art, such as line, shape, colour, texture, and composition, and how to apply them effectively in their own work.

· Engage with the work of renowned artists, designers, and craftspeople, both historical and contemporary, to inform and enrich their own creative practice.

· Refine their ability to research, plan, and develop ideas, demonstrating their creative problem-solving abilities.

· Communicate their artistic intentions and evaluate their own and others' work, using appropriate subject-specific vocabulary.
